Shop & Dine Local Contest
The City of St. Albert’s Economic Development department will be launching their Shop & Dine Local contest from November 24 to December 14!
Register your business as a holiday vendor with the City for our contest and we’ll help promote your holiday deals and events. One of your lucky customers could win one of four $100 prepaid St. Albert Local Gift Card that can be used at a variety of local businesses!
How to Sign Up
To make the Shop & Dine Local campaign as inclusive as possible, the City is making it free and easy for businesses to participate:
Step 1: Visit the Businesses – How to Participate webpage, fill out the online form and we’ll feature your holiday promotion or event on our Shop & Dine Local Wishlist webpage. Register early to be part of the launch on November 24th!
Step 2: Use the promotional poster, social media graphic, QR code handouts and/or stickers available on the How to Participate page to help promote the contest to your customers.
Step 3: Encourage your customers to enter the contest by scanning the QR code on the handout or sticker and filling out the entry form.
At closing on December 14, the contest is over, and we ask that you please take down and stop using the promotional pieces in your store. The prize draw will be on December 16, and the winner will be contacted by the City of St. Albert. There is no purchase necessary to enter.
If you have any questions, please contact Amanda MacDonald, Economic Development Officer at 780-459-1743 or amacdonald@stalbert.ca
Additional information for your customers on the Shop & Dine Local contest is being updated and will be available in the coming weeks. We wanted to ensure all businesses had the opportunity to register as soon as possible.
If you would like a FREE Shop Local window decal to remind customers that you are a proud St. Albert business that encourages the community to shop and dine local, email economicdevelopment@stalbert.ca. The decal can stay up as long as you like since it does not include contest details.
